Leadership and Governance

At Khidmat-e-Alam Welfare Trust and Medical Center, our governance framework is structured in accordance with applicable laws of Pakistan, best practices for non-profit organizations, and the guiding principles of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct. The Trust is overseen by a duly constituted Board of Trustees, responsible for policy formulation, strategic oversight, and fiduciary responsibility, while executive management ensures effective implementation of approved strategies.
This structure aligns with expectations commonly observed under SECP and relevant regulatory requirements for welfare and charitable organizations in Pakistan, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources and public trust.

Board of Trustees

Himayat Ullah

Chairperson of the Board
Provides overall leadership to the Board of Trustees, presides over board meetings, ensures effective governance, and represents the Trust before regulators, stakeholders, donors, and the public. Ensures that the Trust operates in compliance with its constitutional documents and applicable laws.

Muhammad Ishaq

Vice Chairperson
Assists the President in fulfilling governance responsibilities, supports board effectiveness, and assumes the role of Chairperson in the absence of the President, as per governing rules.

Muhammad Yaqoob

General Secretary
Responsible for maintaining statutory records, minutes of meetings, official correspondence, and ensuring timely compliance with internal policies, resolutions of the Board, and regulatory requirements.

Muhammad Salman

CEO
Appointed by and accountable to the Board of Trustees, the CEO is responsible for day-to-day management of the Trust and Medical Center, implementation of board-approved strategies, supervision of management staff, and overall operational performance.

Muhammad Shakeel

Director
Responsible for overseeing departmental operations, program execution, service quality, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards, participate in strategic planning, and ensure that the Trust remains aligned with its charitable objectives,

Dr Ali Hassan

Director Medical
The Director Medical oversees clinical governance, ensures compliance with healthcare standards, and leads the delivery of safe, ethical, and high-quality medical services across the Medical Center

Abdul Samad

Board Member
Provide independent oversight, contribute professional expertise, participate in strategic planning, and ensure that the Trust remains aligned with its charitable objectives, ethical standards, and legal obligations.

Kaleem Nafees

Board Member
Offer impartial supervision, apply specialized professional knowledge, actively support strategic decision-making, and safeguard the Trust’s commitment to its charitable mission, ethical principles, and statutory requirements.

Muhammad Abid

Board Member
Provide objective supervision, share relevant expertise, engage in policy and strategic direction, and ensure the Trust operates in full compliance with its charitable mandate, ethical framework, and legal requirements.

Treasurer
Oversees financial governance of the Trust, including budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, and audits. Ensures proper utilization of funds in accordance with approved budgets, donor conditions, and applicable financial regulations
